Depending on year group and academic course, the subjects that students take can vary greatly. In the lower years of the school in ages 12-15 there is not a lot of choice in the subjects you take; a timetable is assigned to you. Once a student is taking GCSE/A Level/IB (age 15-16 for GCSE, 17-18 for A Level/IB) then they have much more freedom in subject choice.
In addition to academic studies, there are many sport and physically relatedactivities available such as rugby, sailing, climbing, netball, hockey and swimming. New activities come and go mostly every year.
