Rydal Penrhos is a Methodist Christian school. Every morning in the school there is a chapel service before classes start, and it is often the case that we have speakers from other religions and walks of life taking part in our service. The services usually consist of a talk from this person, a hymn that is sung by the entire school, and a prayer. Sometimes notices and awards are given out in these daily services.
At the end of terms we may have special services to celebrate certain religious events such as Christmas or Easter.
All the services take place in St. John's Church, a Methodist Church opposite to the main school campus.
As a school, Rydal Penrhos is very open to other religions and although the school practices Methodism as a whole, the students often are devoted to another denomination, religion or other beliefs and non-beliefs.
