At the beginning of every school year our school priest celebrates a holy mass. Throughout the year we have holy masses to celebrate various feriae days. We also have a special Holy Mass at Christmas celebrated by father Gregory from USA or father Patrick from Ireland – good friends of our school.
Pupils, teachers and sisters who organize the religious part of our school´s life pray in the school chapel rosary during the big brake. There is also adoration in the dormitory chapel every week.
Each day starts with a prayer prepared by the students with the Lord´s prayer. Every day ends with the prayer Hail Mary. Religious studies are a compulsory subject taught twice a week in every class. Pupils can also do A level in this subject.
During Lent, boys and girls along with teachers pray the Way of the Cross together at Calvary in Nitra. They sing songs and pupils prepare meditations.
The school´s administration organizes spiritual renewals, camping in Stará Halíč, and also trips to Heiligenkreuz. Pupils can get to know each other better and they learn more about God as well.
Our catholic school offers not only trips in the catholic spirit, but our teachers try to educate us to be good catholics.
