Slovakia - Dress
In Slovakia we don´t wear uniforms, but everybody wears what he or she likes. We are young, energetic, and enthusiastic people who discover life and its own delights, troubles, burdens and therefore many of us try to express and show with the clothes they wear something more from their personality. The most vivid styles at our school are:
TYPES:
- Caually elegant-students who wear mostly trousers and jeans combined with t-shirts or shirts. Mainly they do wear sweaters, but sometimes also jacket is suitable for them.
- Sport clothing-is also very common among young and adventurous types. These students wear mostly sport jackets, jeans or outdoor trousers and also outdoor-styled t-shirts.
- Extremely elegant students- students wear elegant trousers, blouse, and jersey, combined with accesories
- Extremely fashionable students-students who wear colorful, expensive clothes mixed up in unusual ways, but expresing their own taste for fashion and accesories. Their fashion is always very sophisticated.
RULES:
In order to be clothed tidy, cleanly, decently and keep all the school rules(because we are catholic gymnasium) even if we do not wear uniforms and we are not all the same, there are our special school rules. Here are some of them.
- Girls mustn´t wear skirts shorter than knees or wear t-shirts which do not cover them enough.
- Boys mustn´t wear too short trousers.
- All the students mustn´t wear piercings.
- We have to change our shoes and boots when we enter the school at the morning and we have special indoor shoes.
- We mustn´t have tatoos.
- Young students ( until the age of 12-13 are not allowed to dye their hair).
But there are also some special thing which we are allowed to do:
- We can dye our hair from age about 15 and more
- We can wear all the accesories which we want
- Boys can have a small beard
- Hair styling is free
If we break school rules we are written down to the class register and it has it´s own consequences.
